Handmade

I recently took up the hobby of making stocking caps, all sizes and colors. Does anyone have any ideas how I can make money off this hobby? such as websites I can post ads or such?

the world seriously needs more things that are ‘handmade’, to me it adds a personal touch to know that someone used their skills as a ‘craftsperson’ to create something.

the assembly line method is just cold and impersonal- turning out cheaply made ‘disposable’ objects.

something handmade is always better and usually more cherished than the industrial objects.

as far as your question- I would keep your eye out for flea markets , craft shows, and ‘art fairs’ in your area- build up a good supply of caps, purchase a booth at one of these places- and start building a small business. I like the ‘art fair’ atmosphere - you can take some custom orders when you are face to face, and not have to guess where peoples tastes are at.
