I LOVE Halloween, it’s my favorite holiday. You can REALLY come up with some good homemade stuff if you think hard enough. Put some webs around the house and stick some fake spiders in them, put fake bloody hand prints on the windows/doors, get some fake blood and put spatters of it on the table cloths/curtains, for the outside… make tombstones to put in the yard, put some fake webs and stuff on the outside of the house and stuff like that. And of course, if possible, get some music playing… like “scary noises” such as thunder/lightening and the music played at haunted houses. Now for snacks and stuff, get some a red beverage and call it something like “bat blood” or you could use a non-red beverage and just put red food coloring in it. You can get candy eyeballs to put in the cups or something to freak people out lol. Get candy at about in store and maybe make some halloween cookies or make a cake and decorate with black and orange icing and make tombstones or something out of candy to decorate it with. Hope this helped you!

Ghost - use sheets and some sort of round ball or styraphome ball for the head, tie a string around it, use a black marker for the eyes and mouth.

MILK JUG CREATURES: Start saving your gallon plastic milk jugs! They make great forms for Frankenstein or witch heads. To make these, be sure to first thoroughly wash out the milk jug and let it dry. Turn the milk carton upside down, so it takes on the shape of a square. Use paint or construction paper to cover the milk carton with a desired color. Paint or glue on facial features, hair, nuts and bolts, for Frankenstein, etc. Attach a string or ribbon to the bottom of the jug (since the jug is turned upside down, the “bottom” of the jug is now on top).

TOMBSTONES: To make the tombstones you can cut them out of wood, heavy duty cardboard, or Styrofoam sheets. After you have cut the tombstone shape, paint them with a grayish colored paint. Let the paint dry. With black paint or a permanent ink marker write catchy or scary sayings on the tombstone.

Spiders and Webs: A few black garbage bags, one large and eight smaller, stuffed with leaves or newspaper.Fill the large bag so it is round and the smaller bags so they are thin and long. Tie off the tops with twist ties or string. Stick on huge paper eyes( I like yellow or red) with black center and two white fangs in the right places one the round bag.Or use dollar store colored electric tape to make eyes and teeth. Get some black yarn and weave a huge spider web to set the spider on. Dab on some sparkly glue so people can see it.

Decorate with white table cloths - use fake blood or read food coloring to splash “blood” all over them, put bloody handprints on things too.

I went into a hair salon and they had a bunch of cool Halloween type things hanging from strings which was hanging from the ceiling, it looked cool. Also when I was in gr.7 we made red koolaid that looked like blood and dipped pieces of apples in it, yummy.
