Is there a way to get your hair really thin by a haircut?

Is there any way you can get your hair thinned out like really thin by a haircut. Im getting my haircut tuesday but I want toi know if you can get your hair thinned out cause im getting my hair like hayley williams the razor cut from paramore!!

You shouldn’t have to do it yourself.

You need to ask the hair dresser for lots of layers (even though they should already be doing that, because haley williams has them) and that you want all the volume at the top. Then as they are finishing up, decide if it still needs some thinning out. If you think it does just ask them to thin out the bottom layer as much as possible.

You don’t want the top too thin because you want the volume to come naturally rather than having to tease it (which is time consuming and damages your hair).

yes my mom cuts hair and has the scissors that thin the hair out . what you do is grab thick sections of hair . not too thick and cut about half way between the roots and the end . and what it does is cut just about everyother hair so it thins it a lot . just tell your hairdresser about special thinning scissors and im sure she will know what you are talking about since she does hair .
