It sounds as if you either have dandruff or any hair gel or mousse you use is coming out. There are special treatments for dandruff. Head and Shoulders are the most commonly used ones, however there are more expensive quicker treatments for it. Have a little look around the shop and see what kinds of products there are.

My hair used to be frizzy but I have learnt to tame it now. When I go for a shower to wash my hair, I always towel dry it upside down so it is left damp - to make it curly I always put a load of gel onto my hands and scrunch my hair up - I don’t use the strong hold gel where it goes all stiff. Once the hair dries in the air it should go curly into nice waves or ringlets - not frizzy.

To straighten just blow dry it with a rounded brush and always tuck the ends inwards (towards your neck) unless of course you wanted a flick on the bottom. Then use straightners. However straightners make hair more prone to frizziness because it burns the ends either at the top, half way or at bottom.

Why don’t you try one of those shampoos made for your hair type? There are so many out there! Something’s gotta work.
