Do I have to cut off my damaged hair?

I put color on my hair and it has become dry, hard, and dull. I know it’s damaged because it just sticks out like straw. I tried applying cream moisturizers but it doesn’t help. Do I need to cut off all the damaged hair so that it can start growing? I’ve been told that dead hair prevents new hair from getting nutrients.

hmm well i think you should chop it off . its gonna grow back quicker than you`d expect.. damaged hair grows heckk slow and not that pretty at all . ohh you know what shampoo really moisturizes your hair ? aussie moist . smells like peachykeenHEAVEN too . :D

I would at least get a trim.

Try Matrix Sleek and Smooth conditioner. Its in a orange bottle, and is now sold at target. I live by this conditioner, and has helped my hair alot.
