hair hightlights

I have super dark brown/black straight hair with natural medium brown highlights on the outside layer of my hair ( from the sun) and I was hoping for suggestions on what colors to use for highlights…thanks

Hey if you have really dark brown hair try Copper or lighht brown dont go for red it doesnt go with brown and dont go with blond since your hair is too dark and I suggest you go to a salon to get it done that way it will look more professional

Ok. This is what I think. DO NOT bleach your hair!!! Go to a high-class hair salon and have them dye your hair blonde!! I would never ever you the store bought sht for my hair. I think it ruins your hair. I am very dark haired and I have dyed my hair blonde before when I was in 11th grade. Me and my mom went to a very nice hair salon in Beverly Hills (thats where I used to live) and even though it costs about $200, I got SOOO many compliments!!! So just go to a high class hair salon and you will be pleased with the results and STAY AWAY FROM THE STORE BOUGHT CRAP!!!

Have you ever dyed your hair any colour at all? If not, you could lighten your hair as a whole to…say light brown and then do blond highlights. Just a suggestion. But do whatever you feel is right, girl! =-]
