Does anyone know how to make your hair grow faster?

I cut my hair to donate it . Awhile ago & my hair just won’t grow?

Answer #1

i donated my hair twice, it feels like forever but hair grows a half an inch per month on average. some may say to take a vitamin but if your body already has enough of it then you can just make yourself sick, besides having a healthy diet there is nothing you can do

Well, there are things to help your hair growth.

  1. DO not wash your hair everyday, your hair depends on your natural grease.

  2. Massage your scalp gently for a few minutes every day to stimulate blood flow to the hair follicles, improving hair growth. You can purchase electric massagers made for the face and scalp that can be relaxing and helpful for hair growth.

  3. Eat salmon, dark green vegetables like spinach, and beans.

  4. Sleep more (It’s good for you and your hair)

Hair always seems to take aaages to grow past that awkward bob to shoulder length stage, it’s because it’s growing with the curve of your head and not just straight down, so it’s got longer to travel.

There are many products thatclaim to make your hair grow faster but they are all bullsh*t, hair is dead, it doesn’t grow from the outside, it does all the growing inside your scalp. To make it grow faster you can try things like massaging your scalp every morning and night, this stimulates the sebaceous glands and releases oil and dirt built up blocking the tiny holes your hair grows out of. Brushing your hair also helps and acts like massaging, also brushing helps distribute the oil throughout the rest of your hair and acts like a hydrating mask. Even though it will make your hair feel a bit oily, it’s good for it. Healthy eating and drinking lots of water is also good for your hair. It’s good for your whole body actually… Also last but not least remember to get regular (every 6-8 weeks) trims on the ends. The ends of our hair are delicate and they split and get ruffled easily, this could cause them to split up the hairshaft and start breaking off (very common with bleached hair). Regular trims will keep the ends of your hair nice and fresh. Hope this helped somewhat, I used to be a hairdresser so I tend to sound like a broken record giving out hair advice as I always repeat myself on answers lol.
