It’s no wonder it’s so frizzy. You’ve been damaging it with all those chemicals.

You can’t use harsh chemicals excessively on your hair and expect it to be healthy and normal.

My advice? Quit bleaching, straightening and coloring. Your hair is telling you, “STOP IT!!! I’VE HAD ENOUGH!!!”

Start using sulfate-free shampoos (regular shampoos will just damage your hair further…shampoos such as Suave, L’Oreal, V05, Pantene, Garnier Fructis, Nexxus, Paul Mitchell, Biolage…they all contain a useless ingredient that lathers and does nothing but strip your hair of moisture). L’Oreal has an EverPure line of sulfate-free shampoos…it’s for colored hair, but you can use it. Trader Joe’s, Henry’s, and Whole foods stores have natural, sulfate-free shampoos. Say Yes to Carrots, Cucumbers, and Tomatoes also has nice shampoos.

Use a gentle, moisturizing conditioner, and use leave-in conditioners and do deep treatments for your hair once a week. I use Lustrasilk Olive Oil Cholesterol Leave-in conditioner (Available at Sally Beauty Supply for $2.89, and you get 20 oz! Great deal!) Use that every day. And for deep treatment, Lustrasilk also has Shea Butter and Mango Cholesterol Plus. It’s a deep treatment, not a leave-in. But if you prefer to make a homemade deep-treatment, try this:

Honey Olive Oil Deep Treatment for hair:

1 Tablespoon Olive Oil 1 Tablespoon Honey

Blend well. Distribute evenly throughout hair, put your hair in a plastic shower cap for 45 minutes to an hour. Rinse thoroughly.

Don’t dry your hair with terrycloth. That will damage it. Use a cotton t-shirt or microfiber towel instead.

Don’t blow-dry! Let your hair air-dry.

And remember, you have to be patient to see results! Don’t expect them right away. Your hair has had to endure many hardships (straightening, coloring, bleaching, ect) and it needs to regain it’s health.

Good luck!
