hair diffusers (long finger)

what’s the best hair diffuser for me? I have naturally wavy, thick hair (I usually straighten it), but I want more defined curls. also, what is the best frizz eliminater gel or spray? thanks!

for me, I have naturally curly hair and I find that a long finger diffuser helps a lot to blowdry more defined curls, one from your local Ulta or BeautyExpress works fine. As for frizz eliminator, frizzy hair happens when your curly hair is dry, so a good leave-in conditioner helps a lot, since curly hair tends to be dryer than naturally straight hair anyway. a lot of people recommend not even shampooing regularly, but I just cut back on the amount of shampoo and double up on conditioner, then use a leave-in conditioner. Also, try to avoid washing your hair everyday- its much better if the natural oils of your hair can distribute over a day or two, so try to only shower every other day at most, or at least just shampoo every other day. As for products, the best kind of leave-in conditioner comes from your local beauty stores, something like I use called Biolage- they make excellent products & I highly recommend them. Their creme leave-in conditioner is great. Stuff from your local Walmart usually doesn’t do the trick for the fact that they contain a lot of alcohol, which further dries out hair- stuff like Garnier or Aussie, while cheaper than beauty store brands, are not as effective. Take it from me, I use to buy the cheaper stuff, but now I can tell a huge difference in the look of my hair since I started shopping at a salon store. Some other good brands are bedhead, and also catwalk (they are two companies owned by brothers and the bottles look a lot alike) both brands are amazing and I find that the pink bottle of ‘After party’ creme from bedhead is great for curl definition and shine. I hope this helps you out, good luck with those curls!
