Spray some water on your (dry - start with wet hair and I find it comes out dirty looking) hair and then put it in two french ropes (they are super easy, only take about two minutes to do once you get used to it, look it up on youtube if you aren't sure how), one on each side (like pigtails). Sleep in it it and then just break it apart in the morning, dont brush it, dont run your fingers through it, just break it apart into as many pieces as you want curls. It gives you really cute spiral curls, and as the day goes on, they will fall a little and look like you curled it with a curing iron. Its very simple, lasts all day and its very quick to prepare and style. Oh, and its hair friendly! :P I wear my hair like this fairly often.
If you have a bit of wavy hair already paper bags should do the trick! When i was in high school i did this every thursday night and my hair looked curly all day... you really couldn't tell that i didn't use a curling iron lol what you do is get some ordinary paper bags or pages from a leisure book and roll them into rods u can use gel and just twist ur hair around the paper rods and just tie the rods into a knot which will hold quite fine... go to bed and open the rods the next day and there u have it! your hair should be very curly, you can use hair spray if u want your curls to hold longer
It doesn't give you really curly hair but for nice curly waves I put my hair in plaits the might I've had a shower and it always comes out really nice. Then I just finger brush it in the morning, spray some hairspray and it looks like you've took like time over it.
a good way to do it is to scrunch your hair. after a shower when drying your hair scrunch it up but you will have to have hair spray cause it wont last all day. and styling moose helps as well. just put it on your hands and scrunch it up :)
Thanks! Ill have to try it..I have long thick hair.. How long will it take?
You can do that with socks to.. only without the rods, just tie them.
