How do I change blonde hair to brown?

how do I change blonde hair color to brown?

Answer #1

FIRST OF ALL!!! DO NOT CHOSE AN “ASH BROWN” COLOR!!! YOUR HAIR WILL TURN GREEN (and yes I am yelling at you, I did this and I have experienced it) First you will need to buy a red color. Red holds pigment and is a strong color and will take most of the blonde out. After dying your hair red (it doesn’t have to be RED RED, but it needs to have a red tone to it) Then dye it brown. The red will make the color stick and not fade back to blonde as easily, and PLEASE do NOT chose an ASH brown because your hair WILL turn green after about a week. I went from platinum blonde to brown- I am an expert! Plus I worked in a professional hair saloon for 4 years after the incident so TRUST ME! (Your best bet is to buy color and developer seperately at a place like Sally’s Beauty Supply- thats the best quality hair dye if you’re DIY)

Answer #2

yes, no ash or golden brown tones.

Answer #3

You buy a hair dying kit and dye it, or go to a salon to get it done.

Answer #4

Yes buy a hair coloring kit- Blondes usually have to dye their hair a few times, because the blonde doesn’t always hold the brown. Blondes who go dark, have hair that fades quicker. Try dying your hair a few times darker..Maybe once every 3 to 4 weeks, 2-3 times, so that your hair holds the color.
