Why do some guys perfer to text instead of talking on the phone?

Yeah, there’s always that ‘’……..sooo…… what are you doing…?’’ With texting you can take your time and whatnot.. I’d actually prefer texting, because when I’m talking to somebody, especially somebody I really like, I want to give them all of my attention. When I’m texting, I can do other things while I’m talking to them. :)

yeh, what thehellwithyou sed. Guys like to feel they can entertain u or keep u interested so texting gives a sort of safety because its not live interaction.

It’s less awkward and allows more creativity due to being able to think more before sending the message.

I’m a girl and I truly despise talking on the phone. My best friend gets truly irritated by that. How I love her. Anyway, my reasons are simply of the whole awkward pauses…and the such. I hope more “guys” answer your question, though.

becuase when ur on the phone it is hard to make small tlk! txting is just funnier! n its not only guys its girls too!

thats easy they probly are texting u n other people 2 busybody or they have a light girly voice that’s just how dudes think but dealing with my babe its like my day just doesn’t operate right unless I hear her voice
