Do guys really have that instinct where they know who they'll marry?

I don’t know if you know what I’m talking about, but I’ve heard countless stories on how guys meet a girl and say “that’s the girl I’m marrying” and actually end up marrying her. My dad was one of those guys. He knew he was going to marry my mom. But that’s a long story. If a guy tells you he’s going to marry you, even if it isn’t for a few more years, and means it with all of his heart, do you think what he says is true?

It’s no different for girls. When you meet your soul mate, you just know. It happened with my husband and I - he saw me across a room and his first thought was I’m going to marry that girl. I noticed him a few days later (he was a supervisor at a place I just started working at) and I thought the same thing. We hadn’t even spoke yet and those thoughts were there. That’s why when people ask how you know it’s real love, the only answer I can give is you just know.

Instant true love that is everlasting is a rare and beautiful thing. The key word here is “rare”.

As two people mature into adults it is possible that they will grow in different directions or their life goals will pull them away from each other. I am sure that at the time the love oath is first spoken it is truly from the heart but life sometimes has a way of interfeering. Only time will tell.

i dont beleive in love at first sight! me an my gurl onli started goin out about 6 months or so after we properly met.. i beleive love takes time. if you jump into thinking that you love them the second you see them you will rush and will take things too fast!
