How does a girl know if a guy likes her?

I was dumped 7 months ago by a great guy. I still liked him and I begged him to give me another chance but he ignored me. eventually I gave up and didnt make any effort to talk to him. I gotta boyfriend, he gotta girlfriend. we moved on. then like 5 months later he started talking to me on aim saying we should hangout soon AS FRIENDS. the other day we hungout as friends with a whole bunch of people and now I like him again.. even more than my boyfriend. my ex says he wants to hang again and now he makes the effort to talk to me on aim but I never try to talk to him. is there any chance he might like me again? I really would like to go out with him but I dont want to tell him because he has a girlfriend and I have a boyfriend and if he doesnt like me back then itll screw everything up with my boyfriend and also, I think the guy should make the first move. im just wondering if his effort to talk to me and wanting to hangout might mean that he likes me or something…?

Honestly, I think he is wasting your time. This guy is playing with your emotions, why is it he chooses to come back in your life when he sees that you got a new man who is probably treating you better than he probably did! He knows how much you care about him, and he knows just what to say to make your heart pounder and get your hopes up. But it sounds like to me that you want someone to tell you that it is O.K for to go out with him once more and see what happened, well if you want to take that risk and having your broken again by this guy then go ahead! What about this girl that he’s dating, is he planning on breaking up with her for you? You may think thats romantic and all but think about it, would you want him to break with you for her? and if he’s willing break up his current girlfriend for you, then he’ll do it to you as well! You care about this guy, and the more you sees him is the more your feelings grows towards him, so I wouldn’t advice you to be his friend as yet until you can handle just being friends, its also unfair to your current boyfriend as well.

Guys love a chase, and he’s chasing you cause you got yourself a man and when you were single he didn’t want a thing to do with you because he think that you were weak and he can get you back whenever he wants!

Show him that your strong and you deserve better than to be treated like your some toy that he can play whenever he feels like it!

There is always that feeling of what you once had with someone, especially if they were a great person. Honestly, I think you should hang out AS FRIENDS, just like he said. Perhaps its what he sincerely wants, he wants you in his life, but as friends. It’s very normal for feelings to reawaken after so much time with someone you were to close to. Just make sure your careful, and dont look TO into situations and make something out of them or feelings, that might not really be there. Now if he actually shows he’s interested, its something you’ll have to sit down and think about because there will be two other hearts to consider here, your boyfriend’s and his girlfriend’s.
