my girlfriend asked when i was circumcised and i said never and she said, "i thought all guys had to do that if they wanted to get rid of the extra skin" and i got really confused because i was never circumcised i dont believe and i dont have that excess un-needed skin either.
so, are all guys born with that un-needed extra skin or is it just different people that get it and some dont
It is called the foreskin. It is not extra skin or something that needs to be removed. It is the way that nature intended it to look but religion decided that it needed to be cut and then doctors wanted an excuse for allowing this torturous practice and found out that without the foreskin the area would stay clean and perhaps infections or cancers could be avoided. But its all a big religion reason and because tradition and because everybody was doing it and didn't want to be different.
No it's not 'excess' skin, in the animal kingdom (which humans are a part of) males organs are usually sheathed to protect them somewhat from their surroundings.... imagine dust or sand getting into your urethra because the skin is missing..... well thats if you're not wearing any pants of course :) It's more of a religious thing, circumcision, and has no benefits to speak of....
so all males are born with this? im not jewiish so im not in that religion area
actually quite a few religions circumcise their newborns :)
