Do you guys think 13 is too young to have a boyfriend?

Yes. I know as a thirteen year old you will hate to hear this, I know I hated hearing this when I was thirteen, but at 13 you are still a child and as much as you might think you’re mature for your age, or other people tell you you are, you’re still a child. At 13 relationships do not last, it is pretty much just hormones, not to mention boys mature even later and slower than girls, and usually just want a girlfriend to have sex or just to be able to brag about having one. So best to wait til you are older. You have all the time in the world, best not to rush things.

I don’t think so. I had my first boyfriend at 12. Yes, it didn’t last. As long as its innocent, why not?

You know, I kind of understand all f your answers. :) See, our relationship right now is a bit different from most. He;s been my best friend since we were 3, he’d never want to be my boyfriend just for sex or to brag. Not to mention that i wouldn’t let him. I only see him when we are at our parents house. But I definitely do agree that in almost every case it’s too young. I won’t see him again till I’m almost 15( being almost 14 now) because he moved to the other side of the country. But honestly, it sounds weird but I agree with all of you. :)

No I don’t think so as long as they aren’t doin anything bad like kissing or any of that stupid shtuff. I had my first bf when I was in 5th grade. But I think that it also it depends on your moral values. But I also think that if you want it to be all serious not just puppy love then wait tell like 16 or 17.

Aye. I see what you mean. I wouldn’t think of snogging until I’m at least 16! My friend and I have been best friends since we were very young, so we have a bunch in common. He’s the same one as the update “I like this boy” :)
