Absolutely, it is a great thing…with that said, there can be 2 meanings behind this…

1. means he is not intimidated by you, feels that you understand him & that he doesnt have to hide or front when he speaks around you, that he can just be himself!
2. it can also mean he is only interested in you as a friend, confidant & moral support!(who knows sometimes these friendships turn into the best relationships!) ;)
