What does it mean when a guy stares at you or smiles at you?

He stares at you AFTER you’re done speaking to one another. I would think he’s taking a fancy to you. Only way to know for sure is to ask him. I wouldn’t do it in front of a large group of peers, that would be embarrassing and mighty awkward. Haha. You could either ask straightforward (but I think it might throw him off guard), or sort of weave it into a regular conversation. Or maybe pull a ‘I’ve got this friend…’ move. :3

I think he likes you and it never hurts to just ask him.

well he probably does like you but is afraid to admit it and if you two are friends then your friendship could move on to something more than friendship like relationship. it is not uncommon for two friends to get emotionally involved with each other ok so just search your feelings and ask yourself do you like him if yes then ask if he likes you good luck you will need it.

The fact that he gives you eye contact and smiles when he’s talking to you is awesome, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that he likes you. In situations like this, I think it’s best not to jump to conclusions too quickly. Just take things slow, and then see where things go. If I were you, I’d pay attention to how he interacts with other girls, and then compare it to how he acts towards you. That may give you some sort of indication as to whether or not he likes you.
