what should i do, there is this guy that i really like but my parents dont approve?

@ 799forever this is what you dont do. Try to have the parents approve, or partially approve of the guy.Like have him over for dinner, or lunch. Or your gonna have really bad parent problems/ trust issues in the future!

thank you to all of you guys that gave me advice. i just wish my parents would loosen up and let me make my own mistakes. how else do they expect me to learn? and the boy is doing better, he hasnt drank in 2 weeks. (it used to be like maybe 4 times a week). he knows what he is doing, and how its hurting others, i think thats why he is slowing down. he does smoke alot of weed, but so do most of my guy friends (his friends too). myy parents are really strict about that stuff, my dad used to do it and my mom said she doesnt want to put me through what she went through, thats why they dont want me dating him. but like i said they need to let me make my own mistakes. so i hope they eventually find the good side in him. again, thanks!:)
