Well, MANY dogs eat their poop…there is 1000 opinions of why they do this, some say they need something in their diets, some say it’s from their mother keeping the nest clean, etc etc. The best and most efficient way of stopping this behavior is to pick it up immediately after they go.

As for urinating in the house. He’s not housetrained, that’s ALL that is the matter, and BEATING him isn’t helping matter at all. He’s a baby, so “guidance” is the key…not punishment!!!

EVERY time he wakes up…YOU take him to his pee spot…EVERY time he eats YOU take him out to eliminate…When he plays, YOU take him out every 20 he’s playing. Housetraining is a process, and YOU have to invest a LOT of time.

GSD’s are herding dogs…therefore he nips your heels. You shouldn’t be rough housing with him, anyway…you don’t want him trying to mouth your hands as he grows up. When he goes for your hands, say “NO BITE”…and hand him a toy…roll a ball across the floor…distraction is the name of the game.

This pup will be losing those baby teeth anytime now, so buck up…all puppy teeth hurt, but they don’t last long…adult teeth start coming in at 4 months.
