Growing Pumpkins

So one day in December I found these pumpkin seeds on my dresser that I had been saving since early October, and I was really bored, so I thought, “Hmm…I should plant these.” So I did. And then they sprouted early January…which is really really awesome, I’m so proud of my little guys, but…I started them waay too early. Everything I’ve read says that you should start them mid- to late April. So my questions are these: Is there any way to keep them alive and vibrant and healthy in the house until April? And will they ripen too early in the year? And if you have any advice about pumpkin growing in general, just leave a comment or shoot me a funmail or something of the sort.

Thanks!
