Which is best?
We buy for the week because all I eat, unless i've got the munchies and money to blow, is friuts and things that go bad quick. Same with my daddy, he's been on, what I thought was a health food kick at first, now I think he's for real. :) If we bought food for a month, most of it would go bad. Here's what we usally get: Lunch meat Whole grain bread Mayo (if we need more) Cheese (if the ingrediants are cheese, milk, enzymes) ***That's for my dad's lunch at work Apples (lots of apples) Bananas Potatos Whole grain un-enriched pasta Prego pasta sauce Triscuits I get some sort of energy bars A couple ears of corn A pomegrante if i'm feeling I want one. Water
That's it. :)
Actually, that's for two weeks, but I still feel like that's a lot. Things are just becoming more and more expensive and it's rough, because I'm not rich or anything so it's just.. like I said.. rough.
The week. Otherwise, we couldn't buy anything from the deli or produce departments. I actually work in a grocery store, and most of the customers I talk to also buy weekly.
We usually get what we need for the week, but that's because hubby gets paid weekly. If he was paid every other week, we would probably shop every second week.
Weekly. I dont think anything in my fridge would last for more than 7-10 days (except eggs maybe).
We buy for the week, which I guess isn't a good idea, because it comes out to be $180-$315.
Ops, I though you also wanted to know what we get. Why I thought that, I have no idea. :D
We shop for two weeks on most stuff but vegetables they are every week.
my mom goes grocery shopping every single god damn day, god help us.
Wow! That much per week? We only get about $80 worth per week. :O
