What can I do with old GRE books?

I have some GRE books. The GRE is changing in a couple of months, so selling them is not going to work. I don’t want to just trash them

Answer #1

One thing you could do is donate the books to a library. The library I worked for accepted all kinds of books. If they couldn’t use the books because they were out of date, they put them on a sale table where people could buy them and donate as they please for the books. I’m not sure if your local library does the same, but it’s worth a try if you can’t sell them.

Answer #2

You could give them away to people you know who could be needing them. That’s what I usually do, with all my high-school and semester books and notes.

Or else, simply give them away for recycling.
