What graphing tablet do I need to get for my computer?

So i want to go into graphic design, but right now I’m still in high school(lol) but i do a lot of Gimp editing with my pictures and i was wondering if a tablet would help? like with the eyeliner and drawing things since the mouse is a total pain to edit lines with!? I’ve read that they do but most of theses comment were artists so i understand that. I’m thinking abut buying a $35 dollar one off of amazon, since it is my first one and i don’t want to spend a lot of money. Anyways i just want to know if it will be a big enough help for me so i can purchase one asap!

I don’t know what one my brother has, but he LOVES it. Think it set him back about $70, and it has around a 8x10 drawing surface. It seems to be a good one to get started with.

If I was you I would spend some time on Amazon, Newegg and Tiger Direct comparing prices, features, and reviews to find the one that will work for you.

Anytime I come into a new piece of tech that I want, but don’t know much about I spend a fair amount of time researching it so I know what exactly I’m buying and if I’m getting the best bang for my buck.

I have a Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch Tablet. it was around $100 dollars (I got it several years ago however, so I could be off) and it is a fantastic starter tablet. And I was in high school when I bought it as well.
