goth vs emo what the hell

There’s more to emo than cutting, that’s NOT what it’s about AT ALL. Cutting is a serious matter that should ALWAYS be taken seriously. Depression is also not involved with emo OR any other stereotype. Depression is a medical condition that needs treatment. Goth has nothing to do with cutting/being depressed either. Emo and goth are both music types, they’re also styles. People REALLY need to get their facts straight before they start saying sht. Just ignore the dumbases… be your TRUE self… NEVER change for ANYONE. If they can’t accept you for who you truly are, they’re not worth your time.

emo’s do not cut. if he says he’s emo, he either doesn’t know what emo means, or he’s a poser. people who cut are considered cutters. and the real deffiniton of emo is nothing more than a music genre. if people are bothering you or anyone else about this, they obviously like to label people and put them down for it. Don’t let them see any signs of weakness, soon enought they’ll stop bothering you about it unless you let it get to you.

I find it funny when people actually label themselves. like “I’m emo.” or “I’m goth” yet they go and bash people who start making stereotypes about them…real emo people dont say they’re emo. real goth’s dont say they’re goth. just be yourself. if someone calls you one or the other, whatever. dont make a big deal because at the end, all it is is a silly stereotype. it aint gonna kill you. and to go after pop lovers is pretty idiotic too. why cant people just stop bashin others over things like this and just stick to their own problems and worries. I’m probably one of those people that is part of every sterotype out there. because music-wise, I listen to EVERYTHING. literally. and I dont have time to be labeling myself, so I don’t. which is how it should be. you label yourself, and that’s how narrow your capabilities will become in the future.

emo is more then a music genre to ppl who have been in that spot but who cares what ur label is i agree with them when they say be urself but i dont agree with them saying emo is just a type of music and just to clear things up its not that emos dont cut themselves its just not all of us emotional disasters ( emos) cut ourselves so to the ppl out there thinking all emos cut themselves or that its just a style get over it! its not just music and its not just a style think of what has happened in an “emos” life before u put ur opinionated stereotypes on them!
