Answer #3

I need something that will really just uplift the people though. Maybe something that’ll make them laugh and/or think of the good times, rather than focusinn on the the loss of their loved one so much.

Answer #4

Although it may be difficult trying to uplift the atmosphere during a funeral it is possible to lighten the mood and reflect on the persons life in a positive way. For every bad situation there’s always something good.

“Do not stand at my grave and weep”

Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there, I did not die.

If you are thinking of writing one, be respectful, but try to make them smile. I call it soft humor. get there attention to all the good times-not the one bad.
