What can I do with wavy, frizzy hair?

please help me with my hair!! it’s wavy and frizzy with little baby hairs in the front. what can I do? instead of doing plain ponytails?

Answer #1

I have wavy mixed with curly hair. & I used to put it up in pony tails until I realized my pony tails looked funny because they were wider than normal pony tails were now I’m stuck with wearing my hair as a bun every single day. & it’s soo plain and boring. I want a way where I’m able to put my hair down and easily style it. My hair has a lot of volume is kinda of thick. It used to be thicker but I straightened it with a straightner so much. Anyone have any ideas or tips or any products that could help tame it down?

hey dont worry what you could do is you can take a shower then blow dry your hair to make it straighten your hair then put some gel in ……….gel is much better than the spray……..the spray gets all over LOL

hope i helped you and your hairy situation!

You can try using frizz control serum or frizz control shampoo and conditioner. Any hair cutting place has them. Or you can try straightening your hair and then hairspraying the baby hairs into your natural hair…Pigtails, braids, curls, the list goes on and on… You can also try bobby pinning the baby hairs if there are a lot of them… Hope I helped! <3

I have the same type of hair sweety dont worry, I always use to wear my hair in ponytails but now I got a haircut just a little after my shoulder and it looks beautiful because after I got it cut I was always mad about the frizziness but I have this good cream for your hair and I would wash my hair and put that cream in and let it out…everyone would comment me on m my hair and it looks beautiful

I had the SAME problem with my hair but I used the shampoo and conditioner called its a 10, it helps the frizz a whole lot! Also dont wash your hair everyday it increases the frizz and dont straighten curl or blow dry your hair too often. My friend did that and now she looks like she has an afro so she learned that the bad way. Its helps so you can wear your hair down or up and it’ll look cute!

-BTW my moms a hairstylist and she tauht me all of this

the ting is that people say cury or frizzy hair is hard to “control” but it isn’t you just have to find the right style for you. if your hair is short and curly or frizzy the easiest way is to wear it up in a poneytail but you can also straiten it to leave it down or you can scrunch it with mousse, I would recomend VO5 curvaceous curls it works the best. you can also do that with meium or long hair but with medium and long hair you have more possabilities. with eather long or medium hair you can french brid it or just braid it but make sure you braid it when its wet. also if you use a sraitining and de-frizz shampoo it helps a lot and also leavein conditioner can make wonders when styling curly or frizzy hair or also the de-frizz serum. there are lots of differet ways to style curly or frizzy hair you just have to find the one best for you, I did. -hair expert em

if you dont straighten your hair, wash your hair, then apply RedKen hest protection (the type in the brown bottle) and dry it and it shouldn’t be frizzy. works for me :)

if you do straighten your hair, wash and dry your hair, apply RedKen and straighten it and it will go sleek and straight.

:D good luck

Try experimenting with different products. Gels, glossing polish, baby oil. See what works for your hair and what feels good.

Try a little baby oil on the frizzy pieces around your face. I also highly recommend Proclaim’s Glossing polish sold at Sally’s beauty supply. Also, try going to a nice salon that specializes in curly hair and have them do your hair and teach you how to do it and buy the products that they use.

i have really curly frizzy hair too. i use GArnier Fructis, in the bright Green Bottle, the one for curls. after i wash it i use the curl balm first, in my wet combed hair. then i add the curl mousse and add gel. then i dry it with a diffuser, never ever use a regular a regular blowdryer. a diffuser is an attachment. ‘cuz if u don’t it’ll end up even frizzier. hope that helps. and a leave in conditioner helps too.

right before you get out of the shower, rinse your hair with really cold water. this helps smooth out the hair cuticles. I would recommend Bed Head After PArty smoothing cream. it does a fantastic job of smoothing down the frizzies :)
