Anything but the notebook or twighlight
koreans are really good in creating funny, romantic, and tear-jerker scenes. i had a phase before when i was so into watching korean movies/series. man, i even studied their 'alphabet' :S and no, i dont understand what the words mean, i just know what letters they are. useless, but i used their letters to write in Tagalog before. LOL
A walk to remember, The notebook, Gia, Beaches, Dear john, My girl, Ghost, Steel magnolias, The green mile, Brokeback mountain, Finding neverland, I am sam, Patch adams, Never ending story, Big fish, American history x, The bucket list, American beauty.
Yeah, when I saw A Millionaire's First Love, I thought "wow, this movie is funny." then there were scenes where I just flat out cried unexpectedly. It was just so well played out and emotional. I've seen it about 6 times and every single time I cry.
Haha. I had a phase where I watched purely Korean movies and shows too. :-) I tried to learn Hangul, but failed because at the same time I was learning Japanese. I think if I tried now, I could get it right.
Korean movies like 'A Moment to Remember', 'Sad Movie', 'Windstruck', and 'My Sassy Girl'. They're all awesome :-)
As for Hollywood, I Am Sam, Pursuit of Happiness, and Artificial Intelligence.
