What's a good 9th grade science fair project?

A good place to start is something that you find interesting or if you have a question that you think you could awnser through experimentation. The easiest would maybe growing a plant its very generic but you could put your own twist on it.

for mine last year, i made two solar oven boxes. (ill give you the link on how to make one) but anyway, one solar oven had heavy duty aluminum foil on it, and the other i put regular aluminum foil on it. so the aluminum foil is the independent variable. then, i would put them both outside at the same time, both of them having the same amount of sunlight, and i would leave them both out for like…..idk 10 minutes? and then check both their temperatures and see which solar oven absorbed the most heat.

my teacher made me put the solar oven boxes outside everyday for 5 days, and add 5 minutes each day. and record the data on which one was hotter, etc.

take apart a radio or something and then figure out how it works and then put it back together or build your own
