I know I should be able to come up with a proper metaphor myself but I need a bit of help with a poem I'm writing. I hope you guys can give me some good ideas.
the fiery red apple shined brightly in the light. The celery colored grass drifted gracefully in the wind....
Its best when making a metaphor to use strong verbs and adjectives to help portray a picture. Do not use the words like or as because if you do it wont be a metaphor but a simile. Metaphors usually says something is this to create a strong comparison.
All i can think of is as red as a beet or tomato. and i think tomatos are actually fruit
your a red beet! how about that and i realized that myself after i said it
saying something is red as a beat is not a metaphor but a simile
When life gives you lemons make lemonade?!?
Thank you !
