What can I give my dog for nausea and vomiting?

He’s also acting lethargic and acting like his stomach hurts.

Answer #1

Is there any chance he got in contact with a pesticide or herbicide? You could try wrapping a ‘Pepto Bismal’ in a slice of cheese and having him eat that. When I was a volunteer at a vet’s clinic a lot of these problems were caused by a dog swallowing a bone that got stuck in the esophagus, in which case you need to see a vet. Good Luck.

Answer #2

Fast your dog for 24 hours, then if he’ll eat, try some boiled white rice and burger…a little bit at a time.

Here’s the thing, if there’s only vomiting, and no diarreah, my thinking is a blockage in the gut. And that is an emergency. He could die without help from a Vet.
