why do girls feel the need to put on excessive makeup and perfume?

you will be surprised how many looks you will get when you go out without any make up. I only wear it when I’m around other girls but I don’t over do it I go for a natural look.

because girls are not naturally beautiful what you see in the media those beautiful girls they wear makeup and are beautiful and girls want to be beautiful so they wear makeup and put on purfume and dye there hair and put in extensions

Makes them feel better about themselves? I guess. Wouldn’t know. I don’t wear makeup except eyeliner sometimes.

No idea… I’m a girl but I don’t do that. I only wear black eyeliner and sometimes dark eyeshadow black/grey/silver. As for body spray… well I spray a little then that’s it. I don’t over do it and end up smelling like a fcking whre unlike some girls lol

I agree… I don’t live to please ANYONE. I’ve went out in public SEVERAL times COMPLETELY makeupless. I don’t care WHAT people think of me. More girls need to have confidence and not worry about pleasing society and sh*t.

I went through my teens..very spotty..did nothing to hide it and look fake…and now people can see I’ve grown out of it…seriously who are you kidding with makeup…your going to look plastic unless you get it prfessionnalli domne very morning…I personally hate makeup…used eyeline for a month..then thought again…

I personally don’t wear makeup at all and if I do it’s your typical blemish cover-up, lol. I usually just wear mascara, eyeliner, and lip-gloss. It’s the most natural way to look.

You’re right nobody has to please society but there are a lot of young impressionable girls out there that look at pictures in magazines and actresses on TV and they think that’s what beauty is. They don’t have the self esteem to be themselves.

If it makes a girl more confidant then what does it hurt? Girls need to get confidence from anywhere they can and as they get older most of them realize they don’t need all that stuff to be beautiful.

Theirs an old joke that asks the same question. the punch line is because they are ugly and they stink. lol. But seriously…I dont know. their are so many beautiful and cute girls that swear they need make up and dont. I guess its a confidence thing. I honestly think its silly.
