Why is my girlfriend bleeding after sex?

Whenever my girlfriend and I have sex she bleeds. At first it was a little bit but then it kept getting more and more. We thought that I had cut her with my fingernail and we didn’t have sex for 2 and a half weeks when I was away thinking it would heel. Unfortunately, when I came back it bled again and even though it was only a little bit it still concerned us. We do not use any toys or anything but she does like it rough. She is seeing a doctor about it soon but as we are very concerned we would like to know what it could be! Any ideas?

you need to remember that the area where she was cut does not get air a lot, so the healing process may take a lot longer. so every time you have sex, the blood could be coming out of the cut area. It’s a great idea that she’s going to see the doctor, I’d be recommending it. You, as her boyfriend need to make sure that your fingernails are always short so that this kind of stuff doesn’t happen. You both need to take a deep breath, everything will be ok.

Thanks for the advice :) lol I’m female, we’re in a same sex relationship! :D

Wow, that is a fail on my part. I am sorry. I should have looked. (I feel stupid now). But in all seriousness, it’ll heal, just have to give it time. As long as you guys just see blood, I think on a weird level that’s a good sign, cause if there would be anything mixed with the blood, it could be infection. The doctor will be able to shed more light on the case, but I still think she’s going to be alright. (I am sorry again)

I hope so, thank you for the advice. Kinda made me less worried now (:

Answer #5

It might be a cut is slow to heal, as this is true. ALSO know that some ladies have uterine linings that are a bit unstable - ‘friable’ - and that this causes them to bleed when ever they have an orgasm. It is a VERY good idea for her to get examined by a ob/gyn now that she is sexually active, just to make sure that nothing is wrong, but most likely she is fine. If she doesn’t have a doctor already, she can call Planned Parenthood for an exam. Stay strong, take care, and Good Luck!!

it depends if she is a virgin if so then you popped her cherry which means you broke her hylem. ive been having sex for about 2 years and sometimes now i still bleed from sexual intercourse. its normal. dont worry about it. your girl will ecspecially blead if you have been having rough sex. but dont worry about it.
