Getting over jet lag?

What is a quick way to get over jet lag?

Answer #1

I tend to drink lots of water, and eat at the correct times. However, as I recently moved timezones (13 hours difference from home), my doctor prescribed me a small quantity of sleeping pills to get me through the first few days. If you talk to your doctor, they might prescribe you some melatonin tablets (which are relatively mild, but they help), to help with the first few days.

I have travelled a lot all over the world from the Uk to Australia and also North America and Japan too…the best thing I try to do is stay awake so you match the local hours…so try to sleep the same time as locals. if you sleep during the day you will only wake up at night and thats not a good time to start exploring a new place as most things will be closed

Answer #3

um… sleep! not really, just force yourself to go to bed at the approprait time for where your are now and youll get back into it pretty fast. if your tired and stuff in the procces then coffee and such always works.

Also eat at the appropriate time for where you are, and drinking lots of water helps also. At least, that’s what I find. Not that I’ve travelled super long distances.
