Getting a tattoo on the ribcage

I’ll be 18 in less than 6 months and I want to get “quod me nutrit, me destruit” meaning “what nourishes me also destroys me” tattooed in fancy letters on my left ribcage. Anyone have experience with a ribcage tattoo? Is it painful to get?

Good luck! Like I said - if it get’s to be too much though, just get them to finish it the next day. They are used to that kind of thing.

A ribcage tattoo is actually one of the more painful one’s. You have to remember it’s only bone and skin there, no fat, which means there will be more pain. Dont let that discourage you though. If it get’s to be too much remember you can always make them stop and come back the next day to finish it.

I think I can handle it.. well I hope. it was super embarassing because I took a pic of my left side while I was practicaly naked but I was covering certain body parts lol but anyways I photoshoped the tattoo on there to see how it looks & it looked pretty sweet but I forgot to delete the pic from my camera & one of my guy friends went through my purse & kinda saw the pic it wa embarrassing and awkward lol
