you can get a dna test done but they are very expensive, if when a dog comes with papers it does not gurantee anything, some bad breeds will register a litter under other male and female dogs they own just to be able to sell the mixed breed puppies, there is no safe way other then to know the breeder and trust the person, be able to see the mother and father. and feel comfortable with the whole transaction
