Can I keep a frozen turkey in my garage until Christmas?

(There are some great sales on turkeys right now and I need one for Christmas dinner but i don’t have a big freezer. Can I keep it in the garage in a cooler or something till Christmas? The weather channel is calling for temperatures around freezing and below till then.)

I wud say u cud as long as the out side temp is below at 25 degrees it shud b ok

Sure as long as it is like the temperature of a freezer.

I wouldn’t recommend it. It could pick up bugs, germs and you can’t control the outside temp. Keep it in a freezer, or at a friends house if possible, I wouldn’t risk putting it in a garage.

I have done that with no problem, in a cooler with a layer of ice under and on top of the birds. Happy Turkey Xmas!!
