Frostwire firewall

The globe with the brick wall over it.what does that mean.I shut off my firewall and still see it.so is it telling me that the computers that im trying to copy from have their firewall on and are blocking me??how do I ture off the firewall?I want to download torrents faster.

SO THIS WEEK I WILL BE RUNNING 16Mbps.will that make a difference.

What speed does it say you are connected at? (See the row of small bricks on the bottom left of Frostwire)

Do they all go blue when you are connected?

Sometimes it is not the speed that your PC is connected at, it is down to the speed of the person you are downloading from. (Also depends on how many people are downloading from them at the same time)

My firewall is always shown in Frostwire but it does not affect the download speed as my PC is set up to allow Frostwire to overide my firewall.

IE If you have a superfast broadband connection it is not gonna make a lot of difference if the person you are downloading from is connected by an old style dial up modem.

so the brick wall reflex that the other persons firewall is up ,,,and not mine.
