How to get him to fall for me again?

I went out with this boy for 9 months on April 19 2006. We broke up nine months later and stayed friends ever since…sorta. Well resently he wanted to be friends with benifits and since I love him so much I was totally for it. Me and him have had our ups and downs and it was the biggest thing ever to be able to kiss him again, I would have never thought I had a chance to ever. He said he liked me but he didn’t want to go out with me in fear of hurting me again like how he did when we broke up (very tragic). So now we are friends with benifits and its all ok, he doesent want people to know because when we first started being friends with benifits, people gave us a whole lot of crap for it, (exspeically me, saying stuff like “you need to get over him, its been a whole year let him go…ect.”) So I dont really want people to know about it either. But now of course I want to know how I can get him to fall in love with me again like before but with out messing up what we already have. (I dont want him to be all iffy with me again). So any advice?

When two people break up, someone always still has feelings for the other person. Having casual sex with an ex is a bad idea.Your are being VERY naive. HE IS JUST USING YOU, and you cant see that, because you are so blinded by him.

Having sex with an ex is just playing with peoples emotions. You will NOT make him fall in love all over again just because you give into his sexual needs. He is not respecting you, because a decent gentleman wouldnt use a girl for sex without a commitment! I mean why would he when hes getting what he wants for nothing!

Don’t lower your morals and continue to sleep with him. Think about it…you broke up, and now he just wants you for sex? He doesn’t care for you except for pleasure-and don’t take that as a compliment either.

Honestly I think that if he really loved you in the “right” way, he’d want to be with you and only you. There can’t be any in between because you’ll end up being hurt…it’s like he’s stringing you along (or using you per say) until he finds someone else that will give him whatever else he’s looking for that you can’t give him.

It was a full year and I tried going out with people. I’m nothing but a band geek to a lot of people, no one really likes me and thats why im falling back on my EX because he makes me know someone might like me out there. The feel I get when I’m around him can’t ever change and I don’t feel right when I’m with someone else, it feels wrong. Hes the only one that gives me the feelings he does and I don’t want to loose that…ever..

But the more you keep doing with him, the longer its going to take for you to get over him. Sometimes first love teaches us a thing or two – and not necessarily lessons we wanted to learn. You shouldnt let your first love affect the future for other potential relationships. Your Mr. Right, is somewhere waiting, just don’t let him be the one in the past. You cant have a future, when you’re so caught up in the past.

I don’t have sex with him, I never would. We went out for so long and I can’t get over him that easily. He means a heck of a lot to me and I always want him to be in my life no matter how he is in it. (all though I’d rather it be on good terms rather than bad). Hes my 1st true love… that will never change.. Kissing him isnt all that bad, all I’m doing to getting last min feelings in that I could before because we broke up so fast.. thats all.

BLAH dont listen to angelfire.. Look girl, I would tell you friends with benefits is not a problem, IF. your not emotionally attached , but if you are, which you are still in love with him, I would suggest remaining friends with him, would be a good idea, random, occasional make outs arent gna hurt anyone right? BUT. dont sleep with him, you are risking too much, and also. benefits are’nt permitted when he has a girlfriend. :] good luck, I hope you find out what you want to do.

Answer #6

I WOULD JUST SAY FOR YOU TO KEEP YOUR HEAD UP HIGH…IF YOU WANT SOMETHING GO AFTER IT!!!

I agree with Angelfire. Superfresh, you have your opinion and she has hers. What’s your problem?
