What do I do when my friends believe something they heard from someone else about me?

and its not true but they dont believe me, and then the dont talk to me?

Answer #1

It’s their own loss. You just have to realize the kind of friends you have, which are ones that don’t trust you with what you say. I’d take this as a fresh start to make new friends, one that can trust you with what you say and/or do.

I agree with Miguel. If you’re friends were true friends, they would want to hear your side of the story. They kind of sound like they like the drama and are trying to start, maybe subconsciously, or not. But you need friends that trust you. But if you do get the chance to talk to them, tell them that if they were your real friends, they would believe you.

Answer #3

tell her or him its not true and if they still beleive it then they are not your friend

Answer #4

easiest example… (Bring money with high worth)for instance bring 100$ look at it You see 100$ then squeeze it in your hands very hard till you almost tear it then look at it again you still see the same value…then put it under your shoes jump on it make it dusty…then look at it you only see the same value what ever you do to it you only see the same and the same…i gave you this example to make you think and know your own value and your valuable personality…and whatever people do to you you will remain as valuable as before and never change… Remember WHO YOU ARE and just laugh at those who are trying to ruin your life and make you sad because they feel nothing except emptiness..If everything in this world will be lost TRUTH will remain …one day things gonna be obvious and your friends ask you to forgive them…let your reputation grow with every failure…and dont be dissapointed.

Answer #5

i agree completely!

Answer #6

theyre the messed up ones cause they wont or dont come straight to you about it…

Answer #7

Thankyou for your help everyone.. this has helped me a lot, hopefully it will work & my friends will understand.

Answer #8

Tell your friends ‘if you hear anything about me come to me first and ask and ill be honest enough to let you know if its true or not b.c if you heard anything about them youd let them know.’ If they believe it and then judge you without talking to you then maybe thats not a good friend.

Answer #9

well your friends should no you so if i was you i would get new friends because these friends are not true ones

Answer #10

Consider revoking their friendship license. Obviously they are irresponsible drivers of the friendship vehicle and a danger to your mental and emotional safety.

Answer #11

They’re obviously naive, they aren’t your real friend if they believe someone else over you.
