Why don't friends understand?

Here’s what heathershaw05 said, but simpler… They think you are being the fake you, but you are being the real you, though they don’t understand who the real you was in the beginning. Because you were being fake. Just out of interest, why did you start being fake? Britz

People have to change also to accept and understand the new you. It can be a slow process because people have become stuck in their ways and their expectations of you. It can be embarrassing for you to start acting different as people will find it odd and strange. You need to break the mold! Be yourself and show it. Don’t let people’s expectations hold you back. If you have different interests than before like music or different clothes, hobbies etc, then show poeple this. You may even have to do something outrageous in order to break the mold that the false you has set. And it’s great that you want to be yourself and that you are trying, and thats something to be proud of ok.

Oh thanks! I was just always afraid of being me showing people who I am…what I’m like and that I do have emotions I just don’t show them. People thought I was always tough and nothing could bring me down. But then people though I was always mad at the world and that if they did something to hurt me I would beat the crap out of them. People liked me for the person I was being and not for me. I was better at being a fake then I was being me Sorry if I’m confusing you.

Because they still think you’re the you you were before you started being the real you who you are now!

Don’t care about others just be what you are never pretend then everyone will like you
