How do I make it up to my friend?

Okay so my friend and I have been planning this vacation for a long time now. Not to long, but at least a week. I really screwed up and I feel horrible. We were suppose to go to Philadelphia yesterday , spend the night , and go to the museum. It was all planned. But then she told me she wasn’t gonna get home for like three hours. I feel so stupid and bad because my dad said he doesn’t think she would make it when we left. So i invited someone else because I wasn’t gonna wind up going by myself! Turns out she really could have came because we didn’t wind up leaving for awhile. But I had already invited someone else. I feel bad because she got stuck home doing nothing but hanging out with her cousin. She probably felt really left out too. This is probably an immature question, but it’s my birthday and she’s making me feel horrible. I deserve it, but how do I make it up to her without sounding stupid?

i personally think you should go and say sorry,and you can wait to see what happens or you can go some where with her like cinemas or swimming, whatever she likes . just tell her how you feel that your sorry and you know that you have made her feel sad and then she might forgive you. good luck :)

You can apologize but in all reality she said she couldn’t make it because she was running late. There is no reason for her to make you feel bad when she is the one who was set back on time. Explain you asked someone else because she said she couldn’t make it. It was nothing against her but you did not want to go alone. If she is a real friend she will accept the apology.

all you have to do is say “im sorry for inviting someone else because u said that u wouldnt be able to make it…… sorry” or a least something close to that…. hope it helps

Let Your Friend Know That No Matter How Mad They Are Or What Ever Happens You Will Always Be There Side. U Know Give The A Card Or An Tee-Shirt That Really Fits There Personality Or Makes Them Laugh
