thedude has a great thing going but make sure its not downloading free copyright anime, as much as I love anime it would not be right to the creators to cheat them out of their work.

To make a website yourself…you need:

  1. hosting
  2. a domain name
  3. some software, etc
  4. some marketing (they don’t promote themselves
  5. some idea of how it’ll make money (it gets expensive, if you succeed in the marketing department

I have a (selfish) idea: why not use our groups feature here, to start? Then, if you get a lot of people together that share stuff, and you get used to regularly discussing, chatting about anime, etc, you graduate to building your own site?

And, while you make the group popular, you can ask questions about how to build a site, market it, run it, etc, with our question feature…

just a thought :)
