When I tried on foundation (I'm new at makeup), I looked like I wasn't wearing any at all. It was BareMinerals foundation. Why is that?
its supposed to look like that make-up should blend into your skin, so that you dont really notice its there usually mots people struggle to find one that blends in with there there skin well but it sounds like you got one that matches your skintone first try also mineral makeup tends to blend a lot better than regular make-up

Yeah, I know it's not supposed to look like you're wearing makeup, but I at least want it to even out my skin tone and cover up small blemishes. And I don't want to use concealer.
LOL...lucky you! You've figured it out first try, and didn't even mean to. Make up is about looking natual...and NOT made up.
