Condom only? Pill only?Or Both?
Depends on what you want and what you do and what your body can handle.
Not all women can use hormonal contraception. There may be health reasons for why this is not an option. So they need to take condoms.
Some semen-killing v@ginal gels can improve the efficiency of condoms.
If people are sleeping with someone they do not know really well, they should always use a condom, regardless of birth control. For protection from STDs.
If they are responsible teenagers and too young to have their own kids, then they should use both, pill and condom.
But if someone is - for example - married and has two kids and doesn't want another, but then a third kid would not be a total disaster either, using one method of birth control only might be the more suitable solution. Maybe you get a surprise "I am the 1%" baby, but then most probably you don't.
The two main types are Birth Controle Pills - 99.7% effective Condoms - 94% effective
If used as directed BC pills are almost a sure thing. The only reason to use both is if you miss taking a BC pill, OR you are taking ANTI-BIOTICS which will lessen the effectiveness of BC pills!!!
Both are available at clinics such as Planned Parenthood - the condoms are usually free.
From what i know, most people would use both. You can use only a condom but that doesnt always work. So use both and you more than likely wont have a baby.
When I was active, I used both. Double the protection!
A little bit of both. These are the most common
Def use both.
