well what I did when I was invited to my friend in new yorks house was I took my rents on the plane with me and when we got off the parents aukwardly said hello and goodbye. my rents went home and I stayed. simple as that. and believe me whatever your problem was I doubt it was as trust loosing as mine

your parents should meet them

well you could arrange a dinner between your two family s. Explain to your friends parents that you can’t go unless your parents know them and I’m sure neither side will turn you down. It will probably be looked at as a mture thing to do and you will nab some brownie points (even more so if you offer to prepare the dinner). Or you could eat out if your embarrassed about where you live (some people are and I am one of those people) hope this helps =D

I don’t have to pay at all.. for the trip that is.. I only have to pay for anything I want extra while there. Her parents covered it I guess. Sooo,…The out looks are going somewhat good so far. Mom said she’ll discuss it with my dad tonight. I am having her take us over to the friends house tomorrow so she can meet her and her parents : ).

emcnair119 : It wasn’t that it was an untrusting thing.. It was more on the lines of last time I stayed with a friend.. Alcohol was present and a disaster happend.. They trust me, it’s just they fear for my safty again.
