Can you become flexible?

can people become limber or really flexible or do you have to just be naturally that way if not how can I get that way how can I keep my muscles and watever flexible and not tesnsing up

That’s easy, stretch! Stretch your muscles every day. Yoga and pilates are a great way to stay limber and strong.

Stretching exercises help a lot. Martial Artists desire great flexibility so they can execute their different punches and kicks. They achieve much of this flexibility through daily stretching excercises. Individuals may be born with more or less flexibility depending on their skeletal structure, so you might never be able to achieve the extreme flexibility of an 18 year old woman who has been taking gymnastics classes since she was age 5. But you can always improve on what you have now by stretching. If you don’t know some good classes, stop by any good Martial Arts school and talk with one of the instructors. They will be happy to show you some effective excercises that can improve your flexibility. Yoga classes can help, too. Just remember, daily stretching excercises are the key, and nothing happens overnight, so be patient. You CAN make improvement if you work at it.

I used to do gymnastics when I was young, and now im 14 and I still very flexible, and I’ve taken up athletics! just try gymnastics or athletics, should work :) x
