Fleas bad this summer?

my dog has fleas bad. everytime I bathe her its like she has them right back on her the next day. how do I get rid of them all the way. I have a two month old child so I want to make sure whatever I do dont harm him.

Answer #1

Frontline is the only thing I will use. In this heavy flea season, in my opinion it is the only thing that works. The fleas will not jump off on you or your furniture. It kills the eggs too.

You get it at the Vets office and for a cat it is not very expensive. Do not use the stuff at the store, some of them are deadly.

Did you know fleas can kill a cat, ferret or even a dog. They dehydrate them

Answer #2

yes becareful some medication for them are to strong if the dogs outside he will get fleas again but if he inside and you have rug there a chance there already in the rug so you do have to vacuum a lot and then shampoo the dog and then a bit of flea spray so the feas will not want to jump back on but in summer I admit it hard to keep them off I have cats but they hate water and you cant really wet kitten much they are too sensitive.

Answer #3

if your just washing them withg water that wont kill the fleas there still alive and they will still be on him go to a vet and ask around/look around at all their flea medications then pick the best one for your dog or ask the people at the counter for advice
