First time puppy in heat
My chihuahua is going on 7 months old and she still hasn’t gone in to heat is that normal? When should she be going in to heat?
My female was almost 8 months old when she went into heat, HOWEVER I was planning on breeding her, IF you are not I reccomend you get her spayed BEFORE her first heat, you will really decrease her chances of certain types of cancer, and from running away, True story, I work at a vet hospital and a clients female chihuahua jumped out of a window where the air conditioner was and broke her leg but still manged to “tie” with a male yorkie that was in her back yard. Lets just say her bill was expensive.
