Allergies, most likely. If you don't want to go thru the expense of testing first...then start with food allergies. You'll have to spend more on dog food (the plus here is, that they eat less of good quality food, AND they poop less). My dog was a scratcher and biter to the point that he too cried...he was making himself raw....
Change to NO GRAIN kibble....there are many on the market....Evo, Wellness Core, Taste of the Wild, Orijen's, to name a few. That goes for treats, also...no grain.....no wheat, corn, soy, oats, or rice....My dog hasn't had a problem now for 3 years....
p
PS...give it 2 weeks, before you decide it's not a food allergy....
Also another thought....when I started feeding Orijen's....he did the best he's ever done...and that I attribute to the fact that they don't use any preservatives, as well as no grain....
He/she will most likey have dry skin because its the winter season i just had the same problem with my dog. you can get a dog shampoo that helps to revent dry skin, DO NOT use human moituriser it will burn and irritate their skin. Hope i helped
If the skin looks good it probably is allergies. You are going to have to pay for a vet visit and they will give you some dog "benadryl" as well as rule out mites which you cannot see.
well i dont know but my dog was scratching for like ever so i picked him up ( hes a small dog) and pet him for a while and eventually he stoped scratching
he may have an allergy. maybe to the food such as grains i nthe food. try a no grain food. or the shampoo you use.
exma? or..... mange? sarcoptic or deemidec? get the vet 2 do a skin scrape
